Dissasembaling exhaust
«

Hello,
I'm trying to take the headers off of my 550 SS exhaust so I can clean them up and heat wrap them, are they welded into that adapter or do they just slide out? They are pretty rusty around the adapter so maybe they're just stuck. Any Tips.
Thanks

I'm not sure if they're welded in there, but if it's just a slip-on that's stuck, soak all four pipes with some PB Plaster and maybe some heat and they should slip right off.
