I would use Honda parts. They tended to use the same plates and disks on several models and they should still be available. If the plates look good, just take the glaze off with 600 wet/dry paper and re-use them. Install the friction discs with the gaps aligned, if the gaps are angled they should angle away from the direction of rotation when installed to help lead oil away. Soak them in oil overnight before installing.
Avoid Barnett friction discs. They are OK for a drag race bike but painful for street use. They wear quickly, adding fibrous crap to your engine oil. They also stick together when sitting, near impossible to break free when you ride again... you can avoid flying forward when you first shift into gear in the morning but you will definitely take a while to adapt and even then still forget occasionally.
Stock Honda springs should be goos, use Barnett springs if you have a hotrod engine and have slippgae - but with standard platess.
