err, I know it may be a bit politically incorrect - if admin decides so, please remove the post, but otherwise...

If you never heard about it - it's a Brit monthly about old japanese bikes - like ours. VERY WELL done & written. So, if you know how to handle torrents.... there you go. 21 editions in one download. From 2005 to 07 2007.

www.classicmechanics.com. then go on to the back issues tab and do a search for your model. You can also get a subscription to CMM so it'll plop on your doormat once a month. I don't work for CMM but if Rod Gibson sees this link, I won't say no to some freebies.

Just to add my thoughts "Classic Mechanics" is a good read but
its biased towards Suzuki Katana,s its Editor Rod Gibson eats drinks
and sleeps them.Rod was quoted as saying "I ran a Honda CB750F1 for 2 years & hated every single minute it was a horrible bike"
Don,t waste your money even if next month it has a Seeley 750
they will rip it to pieces because its not a Suzuki

Gibson is a bit of a tart at times. I met him at the Ally Pally show last Feb and he was very aloof...

His Kat is an awesome piece of work though.

Look out for the articles by Chris Pearson who is a staffer and any freelance journos like Roland Brown. He's the one who tested our bikes. He always wears a Davida with goggles, an old black jacket and blue denim Draggins. Last month he tested an RE5.

I downloaded it last night. I had to install a p2p program first and then could only view the mags through "Bittorrent". In all honesty, I found them to be trite and boring so I deleted and uninstalled all of it.

I already had the microtorrent installed so it was no big deal downloading it. I use to buy the magazines -past issues- and then scan myself the interesting articles, so it saves me a lot of work. I think it is a great magazine, and I have a collection of scanned articles involved the CB750 and other rice burners.

Let me add this - since bigger half of the world (at least shipping services from abroad) apparently thinks that Poland is somewhere close to Alaska (looking at the shipping rates they offer comparing to e.g. Germany, which is 40 mils away from my house..) I'm forced to look up many things on the internet.

Again - I would buy it, but when shipping is twice the value of the book, it doen's make me think positive about buying....

Actually, I got to see your country @ 12 years ago. Exchanged a US hundred dollar bill and got back like 2,800,000.00 of their money! Felt like a Redneck millionaire!

very kewl. . .thanks for the tip! uTorrent took a little while to get the whole thing but it looks like some fine magazines to dig into (REALLY good scan quality, too)
