Geez i started looking at my music collection and i could fill a page or two here with great bands from the 50's right on up.
i have been listening to a lot of The Rolling Stones lately and CCR.
I love James Brown
Johnny Winter and can't forget his brother Edgar.
Queen
ZZ Top
The B-52's....call me crazy  :P
Run DMC.......started listening to there tunes a lot more last year after a night on Limewire...i like   i like
T-Rex
I was born in 65.but was stuck in an AM world untill i was 12 or 13.then a friends sister took us to see Sargents Peppers lonely hearts club band.well the whole movie i bugged Drews sister with questions of who is that.well after that i was a rock and roll fanatic.no more Hot Chocolate or KC and the Sunshine band for this guy.even though i still listen to You Sexy Thing every once in a while.
Growing up in the 70's and 80's there was such a change in music going that i find i like a variety of music....rock and roll, punk rock,a little rap even a few Disco tunes bring back some fond memories...ah the school dances ::)

i just rewatched pink floyd live at pompei and felt like changing my vote.   but i can;t so i;m posting to let you know- the pink floyd rules like no other.  so did arthur brown and vincent crane and the sonics and the moving sidewalks and the groundhogs and the electric flag and the pretty things.  how could we even begin to think a poll would be possible.  silly humans

Yesterday I played the Edgar Winters ...  Frankenstein on vinyl at least 2 times.. cranked up ;D ;D ;D

and some FLOYD  the Wall.. I turn the parts with the airplane and helicopter up to about 70 or 80 watts and it sounds like its flying right over the building. :o...LOL.... gotta get the big speakers fixed so I can try it outside..

and some Zappa...

Anyone remember the band The Monks.. beeen playing that a lot.

The Stones.. Some Girls.. I play Faraway Eyes and get people to try to guess who it is.. too funny to hear them do C&W style..

I really f^*ked up a number of years ago.
every friday i used to go to a used record store and buy 5 to 10 albums.well after a while the owner saw what i was interested in.so while i was going through the just in pile the owner would pick out albums and throw them on the turntable knowing i would say who is that and usually buy them.
needless to say i had quite a collection going on.turntables were going on the way side so i gave every album to a buddy :'( (dumb...dumb....dumb)
whenever i go to his place and see all the albums (which he plays to bug me)i kick myself in the ass.i still have a turntable and a cassete player stored away in the basement but no needle.
