FWIW: Both of my '76 750F's engines do NOT have an "F" in the serial number.

I dont believe that having a k, f or any other letter in the ser. num matters for what it is. I have a 78 cb750k8 and the only letter in the number is E

My 76 F also has and E based motor number.  To the best of my knowledge, the bike came that way from the factory.

I don't want it to go like a motorcycle, I want it to go like a rocket!
