Checking in from Maple Grove Minnesota.
« on: September 11, 2008, 11:20:48 AM »
Hey, glad to be here. I just bought my first motorcycle this summer. A 1975 Honda CB550F Super Sport. 13k on the odometer. Pretty sure it was original. Thing was sitting in some guys barn for the last twenty years. Changed out all the wires, plugs, fluids and fuel did a little clean up. Kicked over first try. It's such a rad bike, I love it to death.

I love the cafe bikes and that is kind of what I am going for with mine. For now I did a little paint job and got it running, this winter I will do a full tear down. I want to repaint and coat the frame etc. etc.

Also if anyone in my area is interested, I work at a place where I can paint and powder coat aluminum and steel so if you need any parts done just contact me, free of charge.

Welcome!

Heh, I saw you name on the post index and the first thing that went through my mind was...

Captain.... CaveMaaaAAaaan!!!!!

 :D

Great avatar, also very cool of you to offer powdercoating services.  Might consider posting in the Services Offered forum section.

Oh, got any pics of the bike?  We love pics here :)

Good call, I will do that certainly.

I will get some pictures of the bike soon. I don't own a digital camera so I need to track some one down.
