If a rock was going to fly up with that much force, why wouldn't it bust your shin instead?

Looks pretty good, otherwise.

I don't think think it would look good.  It doesn't say what filter you would use, but I doubt there would be any savings.

-Not for me.  I like that someone's thinking though.

Thought the listing said it came with a SuperTech filter, which is Wallymart's brand.  Time savings, mess savings, perhaps.  WallyMart sells spin on filters for less than $2.50, last time I bought one.

Good point on shin busting, you see, I thought the filter area was a lot lower to the ground and kinda pointed at the ground.  I thought that my shins would be more vertical and not in line with the wheel.  But what do I know? I've only had a bike 2 weeks, and not ridden it most of those days.

Don't bother with eBay - if you want one of these (carefully hand-crafted by SOHC4 member) talk to Terry in Australia.

This is interesting. Terry fabricates these adapters?

Yes he does. However, only during periods of remission from his Alzheimer's affliction. ;D

Just a thought, but wasn't the orignal Honda 'finned bowl' designed to act as an oil cooler?

No worries, mate!

Terry makes oil coolers, too.

Happy trails.
