I was gonna start making bumpers and skid plates for the Tmaxx to sell but never got around to doing any parts runs. So far I have made a new chassie plate for the tmaxx and the Jato, I also stretched the front end of the Jato 12mm since I changed the chassie from a two stage chassie to a single stage and in doing that I had to re-design all the parts and servos to mount to the single chassie plate. I haven't paid attention to the weight savings on the Jato but I have managed to shave two pounds off of the tmaxx.
The real fun will be when I can get the money to go over the revo and do what I said earlier.....That thing was born to jump.
If you look at the Jato's(stadium truck I think) body I tried to paint it as though it was metal going thru different stages of heat of course the front being the hottest, even though the engine is in the back.
Also a good trick for painting too is using temporary tattoos, that is what is on the front of the jato you see, I reccomend sticking with black only on the tattoos fake or real
Another trick with painting too is after you wash the inside the body for paint...Wash it again....
I learned this from a air brush painter that does these bodys and motorcycle tanks. Getting in the corners espically.
