What SOHC used linkage for shifter?
« on: December 17, 2007, 06:30:08 AM »
Last fall I won a footpeg/gear shifter with linkage on ebay. The auction listed it as off of a "Honda SOHC bike." It was basically just the linkage that I was after so didn't give it much thought. But it has gotten me to thinking lately about what bike this came off from. It will bolt right up to my 750 K8 and F1, but the footpeg sits in a lot closer to the frame than stock (to the point that shifter lever would nick the engine).

Did any of the SOHC's come from the factory using a linkage system on the gear selector? Might this have been a facory accessory that was available?
