Highway bars/ Crash bar/ Sissy Bar for a CB650c
« on: June 04, 2007, 04:36:02 PM »
Hi- I've looked on Oldbikebarn.com, Z1 and others, and I'm having a heck of a time trying to find any of the above (hwy bars/ crash bar/ sissy bar) for my '80 CB650c.  I've worked pretty hard on that bike and I do *not* want anything bad happening to her! ...well... that I can help...  ::)

Any suggestions?  Looking for the strong, steel/chrome types, I want to make sure they don't buckle or anything in a wreck.

Ebay to find model specific crash bars. It took almost a year of watching before I found mine at a cost of $ 130.00, a NOS set. Used ones are much less expensive.

if you never found any, i think i might have all of the above, assuming that there is some compatibility from the '79 cb650. the garbage people might have just taken them though.

i looked and i believe the crash bars got taken away, but i'm pretty sure i still have the rack and probably some other 650 parts i don't need (that, similar to the stuff that just went to the dump, i just want gone). my shop is under the west side of the fremont bridge, by the widmer brewery. PM me if you want to come by sometime and get the rack.

I've got a sissy bar for sale with a bunch of other stuff.  http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=29648.msg305854#msg305854

I can measure the width and depth for ya but I'm fairly certain it came off a 550.  Let me know.
