Would you tell her to sell kitchen stuff to make room for a new blender?  I think not.  Just put a lock on the garage door ..  :)

Well since I use the kitchen stuff more than she then its safe to say that she wouldn't notice
a few more blenders, Hence the name Big-Jim.........:)

Better not let the "one who must be o bayed" see this

But thats only part of my basement

there are 2 more bikes in the hallway down there and one in my other shop

I see my ALL TIME FAVORITE CBR 600 generation fairings.  the 87-90 600F in white with red stripes.  where's that bike at?  I'd LOVE to see it.  I first discovered my love of riding on a black and red 87 Hurricane.   but yeah, you need a bigger garage.

Well, for me it was fairly easy. She just got her NEXT bike. It's not SOHC, but close enough - we just sold her Virago, and bot Diversion. And here is the best part - she insisted, and DID herself a overhaul of a rear brake!! I was just assisting with spanners and info "what to do next". And after that we want for a ride. Check the scenery!

  • So, what do ya wanna talk about today?
Where do you do all your micro welding Jim? I work in a warehouse, and I often think about parking some of my bikes at work to make room in my garage? Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

She saw how the backyard cleared up with the removal of that 750 and liked it.  You shouldn't have started that trend.  Now she thinks you're ready to part with some of them.

I've got a little CB200 in about the same condition as the 750 you gave me you're welcome to as a project for her.  Answer the call for fewer bikes with more bikes.  You have to push back.

Or you can keep them up here.  I'll need the keys though so I can move them in case of a fire. ;)

Looks like the GL fork conversion is moving along.  Looking good.  Give me a shout if you need a hand with anything.

Any room for a workshop?  Then you'd be able to keep it all outta the way.  I'm not sure what pole barn type building would cost.

I say get a shipping container, run wiring into it, set up some lights, then put the bikes in there.

I want that 600F so bad.

Now if you should happen to repeat this to a female she is likely to ask if you're calling her a #$%*. To this you must reply - well, do you understand??  ;D

A while back I had to sell a wife to make room for another bike.

How much did you get for her mate? I'm thinking about unloading mine, she's a "classic" with a fine "patina" of wear showing? I'll swap her for a pair of K0 shocks, but once the deal is done, I'm not taking her back, no way! ;D

If I knew I was going to get get in to business when I was looking to buy a new house
I sure would have done this differently. 4 or 5 acres to put a large shop to handle the bikes and my
welding business. you had better learn from hind sight, I have.

3000 Sq foot house and a 10,000 Sq shop

NICE
