anyone here watch the british show top gear? i watched it, am watching it in fact, for the first time tonight. these guys crack me up. this may be my new favourite show until burn notice comes back on.

One show they tried to test the effect of marijuana on drivers!!!   Only in America could you NOT get away with that!

Top Gear is a good show to me.  I particularly like the episode when they tried to kill a toyota pickup truck, and find it to be unkillable.

As a rule I shy away from comedy programs but this one can be so funny.

I can even watch repeats and still find it funny.

I never miss it. Even though Clarkson usually uses the words "biker" and "homosexual" in the same sentence. Now it's on digital over here, I can watch reruns every night!

For those who didn't know, James May has a 500/4 and Hamster rides a 'blade.

Oh and, sorry, Sam isn't the Stig...

Top Gear is great. Very well produced. Some of it is a bit over the top, like when they drove through Georgia with Hillary for President and NASCAR sucks painted on their cars. But it was still quite funny.

The Stig is a mysterious tame racing driver being not of this world who can drive (or ride) anything to its' limits and come back in one piece all while listening to everything from Punk Rock to self help tapes.

Some say he sucks the moisture from ducks, some say he isn't machine washable, and some say all his potted plants are named "Steve".  Some say he's a CIA experiment that went wrong and that he only eats cheese....  (but wait, that was The Stig's American Cousin  ;D)

Not sure that I will make it Steve, I'm racing at Woodbridge that weekend.
I have been invited to ride even if it is at the last minute. Not sure how the RS would handle with the long wheelbase and low footrests. :-\
