  • Tryin' To Slow Down "Time"!


       I worked out there at Fort Chaffee for 23yrs in Civil Service, did  many Annual Training (2wks military training periods) out there over the years and my Dad had been there for his Annual Training for many years before he retired from the Army Reserves. Those buildings were initially built in 1941 and maintained up until the Post was shutdown, as far as the Army is concerned and most of it was turned over to the Army National Guard a few years ago. I retired from Civil Service and the Army Reserves before that happened. Lot of history there, including the fact that Elvis spent time there in the military.
