nope thats behind the fuse box, yuo can kinda see some of it in the pic

i have no clue what year this came off of , it's very close to what i had (exept for the mystery box)

Yup its the box that wont let you use the electric start unless the neutral light is on OR the clutch lever pulled in
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Remember "Its always in the last place you look" COURSE IT IS YOU STOP LOOKIN THEN!

ok ... i have removed the plug from the clutch lever ..... so can i bypass this as well

actually .. now that i know what it is , i'll work it out..   thanx guys

the one you sent was missing the regulator , so i found this one on ebay for next to nothing (I know shocking right ) for the parts.
i had never seen that red plug before , but i knew i wasnt going to use the whole thing so. . . .

thanks again to you and all others for the donations . i hate being a chairity case, but there is no way i could have done it with your guys help
