I've gotten good results with a ford medium blue metalflake in a can. I find the clearcoat that follows for depth to be a disappointment. I must not know how to spray clearcoat...

This is the silver metal flake under coats of translucent red and clear.

Patrick, that looks really good. Tell us about it. What kind of paint did you use?

1. Rustoleum grey primer

2, Duplicolor Metal Specks silver (be careful with this stuff. It runs real easy. Do several light coats)

3. Duplicolor Metalcast Anodized Surface color System (the red. It's translucent, like a candy color)

4. Urethane two part automotive clear coat.

It glimmers in the sun. I have now named my K0 "the Cinnamon Girl."
