Reversed head Triumphs, been around a long, long time..

There is a 1350cc Kawi in town here, reversed  billet head,  magnusen blower with 2 fuel injectors... mechanicl injection... runs good, and its in a snowmobile..!! :o

The 5 inch speedo, looks like HD FLH style.. that is used in a dash, over split fatbob tanks..

I'm going to have to cut out a 5" inch round hunk of cardboard and hold it over the triple so I can visualize whether it's silly huge or not  ;D

Retro, you would probably like the Amen 750 frame, except the neck is lower, and it looks even better than the Yam... pipes tho will make or break the way it looks..

Hi Frank, I don't mind the Amen frames {style} but never really liked the rear suspension. I would probably go rigid and use it to ride to local car and bike shows and such, i would have the sprung seat sit slightly higher..

600 miles days are easy on the Savior frame.
Not sure what you dont like about the suspension, but I got many years of enjoyment out of mine, as did countless others.
If you drag race it though, you will likely bend spindles..

there going to be pissed when they fire that up and it only runs in reverse.
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
I was pondering on that too  ;D

Open the pic up at full size to see wth is going on there.

Edit: I cropped it and lightened it. WTH is that?

Reversed head pre-unit Triumph. The crank still turns in the same direction, but the head is bolted on back-to-front. Cams need to be re-timed to suit. the theory is that, for drag racing, you get a supercharger effect through open bellmouths at speed. Unfortunately, on the road, you also get stones, rain, cats, small children, etc being sucked into the engine.

Benjie

I gotta see more pics of this bike!  Gotta link?
Cafe Racing is mainly a matter of taste. It is an atavistic mentality, a peculiar mix of low style, high speed, pure dumbness, and overweening commitment to the Cafe Life and all its dangerous pleasures. I am a Cafe Racer myself, on some days - and it is one of my finest addictions. ~H. S. Thompson~

Well while its not the prettiest thing, I can sure find inspiration in its engineering.. Given its all hand built.
