I was actually guessing early twenties before the skateboard comment.

Kids.  I'm an old skate punk from the 70's...back when urethane wheels just came out and plexiglass boards were the bomb.  Grew up skating under the Huntington Beach pier.   And that tail light is bad ass.

Got my first board at Zody's for $20.  Found that $20 in between the seats at Denny's in about the mid 70's.  The board was clear with Power Paw wheels.

Moved from Midway City (next to HB) 28/29 years ago.

We lived about 15min from HB off of Goldenwest.  Did you remember Airplane Hill?  I did a nasty tank slapper flying down that hill on my BMX bike (Schwinn stingray with M/C MX bars and a single seat) and had road rash on about every part of my body.  Man that was fun!

The name is vaguely familiar.  I use to take Goldenwest to school - Ocean View High School and Wintersburg High School.  I sure miss Naugles, they made some good big burritos.

i love skateboarding. I tried to post a video about Max Shaaf at this thing in califorina. He kicks this bike in gear then jumps on. Cat like reflexes was an awsome save.

I remember back in the day Texas had a few strong Vert skaters. John "Tex" Gibson being one. But nothing like the Cali scene. I am from Nor Cal and I remember reading about all the pools and skate parks in So Cal.

Anyway, hope we don't get flamed for derailing the thread!

Where some of us would had ended up in life had we not started turning a wrench on our boards, tucking in while bombing a hill, and getting thrashed up just to do it again the next day.
Wake up, look up, there's a warmth up there
a reminder of peace, a reason to care.

I dont get why the guys a pipe burn are so crazy about this bike. It looks like rattle can. Everything is square, boxy and simple. Not simple like in a classy way but more like forest gump simple. Anything that they may have done that was innovative or worth recognizing is now covered in black paint and will never be seen. JMHO

I like the Kawasaki shirt. That still makes it a motocycle inspiration relation.
