550 K1 or Super Sport, best engine?

Hi!

Anyone in here know if there are any difference between a 550 K1 engine and a 550 Super Sport engine?
I`m in the marked for one of these, but are there big difference between the bike/engine of K or SS?

True, but the exhaust on the 550F is SO MUCH prettier and probably sounds better to boot! But I am a bit biased!  ;D

The engines are the same.  Different carbs and exhaust.  But, improvements were made to the later models, for reliability reasons; clutch and valve train.
