Where to find these parts?!
« on: August 12, 2005, 01:48:25 PM »
Hi,

I have a 73 CB350F and I was looking to find some rubber fork boots from a 750 or so to fit on the bike, I have one from the junkyard, but I can't find them new anywhere? Anyone know the ?mm of the front forks? Plus where I can find them? Also looking for minigauges at a good price...basically anyone have a link to the best place to get CB350 OEM or aftermarket parts?!

Thanks,
-Kurt

P.s. COol forum, happy to have found it!

Not to sound like a smartass, but have you tried the dealer for the boots? I got some a year or two ago for about $30 eachfor the accordian-looking ones. The later little dust cap is like $15, also available from the dealer. For some reason, 35mm sticks in my head, regarding fork diameter. If you can't find any you like, I have a used set of accordian boots in excellent shape from a 550.
The mini guages, I can't help with, although check with the guys at Hondachopper.com, but say it's for a 750 or they won't give you the time of day.
Later,
Chris in Boston
P.S. Powersportspro.com also has the boots, if they don't list your bike, look under a different year or similar model.

Tucker Rocky (Or is it Rocky Tucker) has the gauges.
Dennis Kirk has mini gauges as well.
Mikes XS has some cool mini gauges Geared toward Yam. XS-650 but will work

Forks on a 750 are 35 mm. They are smaller on a 350.
