So, as I bring my 78 K8 back from the dead I am faced with a new air filter system. I always believed it sticking to stock as much as possible but now its time to get more creative. I am possibly thinking on finding a similar automotive filter and modifying it, building a new one, or just switching to the pod filters.I refuse to pay what people are asking for a simple filter.
And also, I would like to ask here how the electronic ignition systems work out on the 750s. If I remember there was one guy here that rolled his own and I think that is the system I would like to try. If I can afford it anyway. This American economy is great for the poor creative...sigh
My K8 is coming along ok for now. Still messing with the carbs and hopefully I will be riding soon. Sure feels great just sitting on it again after she sat for eleven years dead. She is running, tho two carbs are still giving me minor grief..
I am more excited now with my 750 than if I was buying a new plastic disposable bike!
