« on: August 20, 2005, 03:29:37 PM »
Does any know where I can get a service manual for a 1977 750a Hondamatic?  A downloaded copy would be great.

Thanks,

..theres not a specific manual for the A.  What year did the start making the A...77?  At any rate I think its just an ademdum in the back of the 77/78 manuals.

They only made the 750 Hondamatics in 1976, 1977, and 1978.  They made a 400 in other years but I dont know what years.  If the manual is the same, I saw a link to a 1978 750f, I believe, would this work?

Go to this link and download the Shop Manual for the 750 and you`ll be able to do the tune-up.

I realize this is an old thread, and this is my first post.

I have an official Honda shop manual #s on cover are 6139300 ; a11007801

It features technical features and service procedures for the '76 - '78 750A.

The manual came with my recent purchase of a 77 CB 750A.

Welcome, and congratulations on your recent purchase. There's a few Hondamatics around here. They always tend to draw a crowd when you take 'em out.

Thanks, Paul- I already am finding so. First, folks notice that it is quite clean, and then that it' s an automatic.
Some pics of almost as-purchased condtion, though I removed a fairing and handlebar risers from original owner, and fabricated front turn-signal mounts.
