Dang, you guys are just too nice!!!  Yah, just before hoodellyhoo sat on it he had that gleam in his eye, so I had to remove the keys.  ;D  I think he would have headed south and not come back.   ;)
How many hours did I spend...never kept track of it as most of us do not.  Let's just say it took me all winter here in WI.  Figure I pushed it into the house in November and back out mid-May.  And I get so darn picky on these restorations that some things just take me longer than they should.  But in the end it is worth it.  I think more than anything I am happy to see this KO back in the sun.  Figure it was covered in a garage for 17 years and it just did not deserve that humilation.  Not a proud bike of this stature.  I did get a few pics outside today.  Not real happy with how they turned out as I had it on the wrong setting...but thanks again for all the kind comments.  Really makes it worth it...you all are the best!!!

Beautiful machine.  Where did you get the red rear winker lenses?  I kinda like 'em.

I'm partial to the Candy Gold, but that Red is GORGEOUS, especially in the sun!!

Yes, I love the gold too.  In fact, I almost went to the gold.  But I felt since the bike was originally red I would stay with it.  The red lenses were on the bike when I got it.  The PO had wired the rear to have the blinkers act as tail and brake lights.  So I left that since it was sort of unique.  Plus, I think it is a lot safer given the small size of the main brake light in the early 750's.

Johnie,

The bike looks great! Now you need to take some large full shots of all sides of the bike!

Cheers, Phil

P.S. And what is WRONG with bikes in the living room??? This is my 1959 R26 doing double duty as Object d'art and Christmas tree!!  ;D

Hey Phil...I love the R26 by the fire.  How cozy is that...you get to sit on it all winter long.  Looks like many of us on this board are in the same company...why not put it in the living room.... ;D

Eggnog or hot toddy while sitting in front of a fire. How cool is that? ;D

Beautiful.  It almost seems that congratulations are in order.
Enjoy.
Yep, I'm the kid that figured out how to put things back together...eventually.
