this is my 1975 cb550K

I added a Dyna S ignition, Tommaselli clip-ons, and some shorty shocks. Also made up a fiberglass seat, license plate/tail light bracket and used some pedals from a GSXR to make the rear sets. ;D

Thank you. I'm really hopeful about her. I was thinking it was a good buy, but it being my first bike, you can never be sure.

Those rear non- shocks better be the first thing to go (what the hell do people think) when they do that stuff?  :D

LOL, I didn't see those shocks first time around. Reminds me of a low rider bike *the ones w/out motors*  :P

Still $250?! Doesn't get better then that.

Thanks for the share.

Here is my 78 550 I just picked up a couple months ago for $500 in everday condition at the moment but I plan on making her cherry this winter. Poor thing sit in a garage since 1980! Not as nice as what I am seeing here but hopefully some day soon. I use to have a 74 until she fell in love with a light pole. You always hurt the ones you love.

Hahah, when i went to pick it up i was like "what the #$%* are those? haha" Ugh. I'm looking to get some shocks that are about that length though, maybe even 1/2 shorter or so. I like the ride height.

Here's my 1978 CB550k.  I recently did some work on it, really happy with the way it's turning out.  I'm replacing the wonky brake light here in the next few days with a smaller one.  Everyones bike looks great by the way!  I love this site!!!
