I've got some hand carved rubber disc pads if you need some for your creation, you know you will need brakes!
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

Just gonna dump them into the atmosphere.  I'm trying to speed up the human races doomed existence.

Gee...thanks for that. So if you're aiming to speed up the human race's doomed existence then I take it you're planning to procreate? Or have you already blessed the world with your spawn? Think they want to breath that crap? Do you have a car or truck or another bike? Are you ripping the pollution control systems out of them too? I hope so because doing it to just one bike is kinda like thinking small in the grand scheme of the doom of a species.  ::)

Mike

Dude, I am totally making kids left and right.  And they're not normal kids either.  They exhale dangerous carbon dioxide and fart methane all over the place.  I've removed all of their emissions reduction equipment.

I wash my truck with pure gasoline to keep it clean.  I cut down trees just for keeping the sun off of me and I paved my whole yard with blacktop just to keep things cozy and warm.

I poop on your Earth!  Shazam!!!!

Thank you sir. It's obvious that you took great lengths in choosing your username so that it would accurately reflect your personality. I'd like to think that you're just fooling around but I don't think you are so I'll leave this thread to you and your disregard. If you are fooling around then try using the emoticons. If you're not then maybe you'll wake up someday...or not. Doesn't really matter to me because as you've said, as a race we're doomed. Going to hell in a plastic handbasket. ;) ;) ;)

Mike

Mike,

I'm pretty much half full of crap at all times.  Have a lobstah roll at Kelly's for me.

I used a zip tie to reattach my cam chain when I cut it off. I'm gonna fire it up tonight and take my newborn for a ride.

Zip ties on a cam chain??  Talk about overkill.  Just use twist-ties like everyone else!

Make sure you use the red yarn.  The other colors are really weak.  I'm going to go crochet some fairing now.

I ended up cutting the chain off.  I'm just going to JB weld it back on when I'm done with the rest of the bike

I think that is going to be new new signature!  That is the funnies thing I have ever read on this forum.  :D

JB Weld is some pretty strong stuff.  That's why TSB banned it on planes.  My understanding is that a skilled operative in Al Queda, if so inclined, could fashion an AK-47 from the stuff in the time it takes to squeeze out an ass baby in the head.  That includes the gun, bullets, a handy sling, and a fashionable yet fear-inducing hat.

Yep.  Those pins fit right in.  The tiny rubber puck fits in the little hole on the right of this picture.  It is reinstalled in this picture.  Anyone know what its purpose is?

It blocks the end of the oil passage that's behind it, so that oil goes where it's supposed to rather than squirting out between the gasket surfaces.  That hole is only there because drill bits can't turn corners while drilling.

Interesting.  Would something like that be included with a full engine gasket set?  Or oil seal kit?  Does it need to be replaced if the rubber is still "rubbery"?

Thanks Mystic!

As long as the rubber is not damaged and still 'squeezes' into the hole (ie it hasn't shrunk from age) then you're fine.  It is not included in gasket sets, IIRC.  In a pinch you could probaby carve a replacement out of some other rubber bit, it's really just a fancy cork.  If you do that, make sure you don't block the passage.
