Washington state SOHC4 ride
« on: April 22, 2008, 09:41:36 PM »
So, after that day of great weather a couple weeks back, and seeing some SOHC's out and about, including me, I'd like to put together a ride, tentativley for May 18th. Possibly up Hwy 101 up to Port Townsend. I'm not quite sure where the starting point would be, as I don't know where everyone would be coming from. I'm open to ideas, so if anyone is interested, let me know!  :)  Hopefully its something that we can do once a month...

If I lived up there, I'd go with you.  The Olympic peninsula was one of my favorite places to ride the 750 back in the 70s.

Damn it... I alway forget to check the region section of the forum. With the lack of summer, I'm assuming the ride hasn't happened yet. If I can manage to figure out my charging issue  :-\, I'd be up for it for sure.

Nope, it hasn't happened yet. One of these moons when summer finally happens, there'll be a SOHC4 ride. I do know that the Cretins in Seattle will be throwing their Mods and Rockers ride on the 29th, I'm going to be there, rain or shine... :-\

Yeah I was hoping to be able to make it to the cretins bash on the 29th, but unless I can figure out the issue with my charging system by then I don't see myself making it. Should be fun.

I'll be delivering my bike to "South End Motorcycle Services" in South Seattle tomorrow. So it appears I won't be able to make it. :'( At this point, I'm just hoping to have the bike running reliably by the time of the VME ride on Vashon. We'll see.

Have fun,

Regards,
Chris
