Carbtune question
« on: August 31, 2005, 10:25:43 PM »
Folks,

I am on the verge of buying a Carbtune.  My question.......are they position
sensitive?  IE:  do they have to be positioned so that the stainless steel rods
are vertical or can they be laid flat when in use.

I have a single vacuum guage that mounts under the left side cover, but you
have to select only one cylinder with four needle valves.  Thought it was
great when I bought it in 1970, but want something easier to use now. ;D

These must hang vertically when in use otherwise friction will cause false readings.

If you get the Morgan Carbtune you'll love it (got one myself).  And as Oldbiker said, it must be hung vertically but they hang nicely from the left handgrip.
