1980 cb650 carbs

i just bought a 1980 cb650 custom friday with klien carbs..i would like to put a aftermarket or make a set of pipes for it  and individual pod filters on it but from what i am seeing i cant jet the carbs..so does anyone know a way to do it or is there a different set of carbs i can swap into it that are jettable..any help is greatly appreciated..

Main jets are replaceable.   If you grind of the tab on the idle screw or the bowls you get around that limit.

i new the mains were..i just didnt know what to do with the low speed jet..what tabs are you talkin about..

hes talking about the pilot screws. you can unscrew them after you take off the float bowls. usually, you dont have to change the slow jets , just richen the pilot screws.

Yes and if your carbs are the slider variety with non adjustable main jet needles, use small washers underneath the clip to richen operation under mid throttle conditions.
