I have a 77 750K.  I put a 140/90 Dunlop D404 on it.  By the way I have a 16" rim on the bike.  It's close very  close.  In hindsight I should have gone with a 130/90.  I hope this helps.

I,m using a Dunlop K505 140/70-17 on my K8 with no clearance or performance problems but I dont like it because , even with 2" shorter shocks it just doesn't fill up the wheel well . I think I would prefer an 80 or 90 series over this 70 low profile. But it does stick nice! I'm looking for something taller, think I may be able to fit a 150 in there, with the 140 I have 3/4 " to the swingarm, but chain and brake stay are closer
Good Luck,
George
Found this bike in completely stock condition in Feb. 08. Paid over twice what my new one cost 30 years ago. Am trying to re-create the look of the late 70's Drag Bike styling.More later. 4-2-10 It ain't stock any more and I have no idea what I am trying to create !

130/90 17 is an optimal size. Any bigger and you may run into issues depending on the tire.
