In the past month, since joining this forum, I have found a lot of great information in old posts and received as much from my own. Thank you to everyone who has replied to my queries.
Tonight I reached a landmark moment - the 350F I bought about a month ago fired up on all four cylinders, idled smooth, and rev'd like a champ. I'm very excited. Considering the tank is still off, I was running it without air filters, throttle cable disconnected, and with only a carb bench sync, I'm sure more will go wrong within 24 hours, but right now I feel that blissful feeling of accomplishment.
After owning many vehicles in my 10 years of driving- 66 Honda CL77 Scramber, 66 Winnebago, 67 Ford Galaxie 500, 1972 Datsun 240z, 1985 Jeep CJ7 (still got that one!), 1988 VW Jetta, 1994 Full Size Ford Bronco, and 2001 BMW to rattle off the ones I can think of right now- I have joined a lot of forums.
I can honestly say that this forum and its members is a cut above the rest. You all are partly responsible for my love for this bike. I have had more fun working on it than any of the aforementioned vehicles and can't wait to get a month of riding in before the snow. Without you that most likely would not have been possible.
I'm totally hooked on the SOHC4's - Already thinking about that 750 I need to compliment my 350
Thanks again,
Adam
