oil leak

got all my oil leaks fixed but one
the left side, stator area
replaced and super cleaned everthing added some nonhardening goo...still leaks
one questionable area...where the wires pass though some of the rubber is missin..added extra goo there...still leaks
any experiece or suggestions?
could it be coming from the cover next to it(by the shifter)?

Yes it could......

Could be the cover is warped. Check it with a flat peice of glass and a feeler gauge.

Ya put a gasket on it right?

There is a good sealer for older bikes and cars Wurth DP300 in a tube follow directions, and if case isn't warped this will seal a 1mm variation. My other passion is old english bikes. England didn't invent oil leaks but they damn sure perfected them.

yes I've used two new gaskets
never heard of that sealer. where did you find it?

Yamalube sealer.  cures all.  Available at your local Yamaha dealer

Had exactly the same leak and it was where the wires go thru the cover,after a few goes at fixing it I put some thick gasget goo on it and it worked well
