Newbe in St Catharines

Greetings all! ;D

Currently restoring a 78 550, have a 72 500 that will follow. Fun bikes easy to work on and ride.

Hi Whitby, Newcastle.

My Spit is a 72 also. Restored it a couple of years ago. No more complicated than a bike!
Got the CB500 in boxes a long time ago rebuilt it, then a couple of years later my brother cooked the motor. Been sitting since 1987. Got the 550 in 88 and it's been sitting since as well. Had the 550 frame stripped powder coated and am slowly putting it back together. The 500 will be next year, maybe...

Hi from Wellington, Ontario.

I put a Spitfire engine a Triumph Herald, lowered the rear suspension so it could go round corners on all four wheels, it was a good little car and you are right; very easy to work on.
