Well, I'm not much for talking trash, but I AM beginning to wonder if I'm ever going to be able to actually get excited about Arkansas Razorback Football again. I know that with a new coach and a number of new players, it's gonna take some time to get things turned around, but we've been screwing up for so long. Then, the way the schedule is set up, we just got trashed by Alabama, Texas and Florida next. Sure will be glad when Football season is over. I know, I'm not really sounding heated up or anything, but I'm just tired of so many things and the Razorbacks getting "Stomped" is one of them.

Bill,

Don't give up hope. For the first time since I have been living in Ann Arbor, Michigan started the season unranked. :'( They also have a new coach and a bunch of new players. Going into yesterday's game they were 1 and 2, none of them conference games. Yesterday's conf. opener with Wisconsin (ranked #9) didn't look good in the first half, putting it mildly. My wife and I left for a dinner before the first half ended. I was not kind about my thoughts or statements about Michigan, they were behind 19-0!

The second half turned out to be one of the most exciting in recent years. Michigan won 27-25 (almost a tie with overtime, but didn't happen). Is this the big turnaround, maybe not, but it feels a bit better this morning.

My wife says she must get her camera and drive me up to Main St. so she can get a picture of me kissing a brick on the stadium. She says I owe them that. ;)
