Regarding the FirstGear jacket-  I own their Earl jacket.  From my experience, (I'm not a tall skinny guy, but I do have long arms) the firstgear has a better than even chance of working for you.  Mine fits just fine in the arms and the rest of the jacket appears that it's designed with the "Slim European" in mind.

Just dropped $500 bucks for a custom jacket from Johnson Leathers in San Francisco. What an amazing experience. Allen (the owner) was EXTREMELY helpful and just an all around great guy. Those guys really know what they are doing and I'm stoked to see the end result! 4-6 weeks build time.

I do not have the fitment problem since I am a fairly short guy wih short arms and three short legs.  ;D ;D ;D

But we were boys, and boys will be boys, and so they will. To us, everything was dangerous, but what of that? Had we not been made to live forever?

you might be interested in one of these from fox creek leather.  thick, heavy, no advertising, USA company.  I don't own one (I want one) but I've seen them in person and they look good.  They'll also make one up for you custom.

+1 for Fox Creek.  I had a Fox Creek Vented Race jacket till my house was burglarized - that is the only clothing item that was taken.  They left my 25 year old Hein Gericke right where it was.  But I love my old Hein Gericke Concord but the arms are too short from a lot of wet/dry sessions.
