Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Propane torch+penetrating oil.  Then put it in a vice to push it in, then back on the MC to push it out.  Repeat until you win.

I'd probably get another to have on hand anyway because that piston is probably toast, and the caliper might be too corroded inside too. 

You still need to win though. -not by destroying it.  You can do that after you win if it's no good.

I GOT THE MOTHER UCKFER OUT!  i drilled a holle directly into the backing on the pad till it just started to hit the piston i then put a bolt in and began cuting threads driving the bolt down it hit the top of the piston pushing it backward and freeing it up, i then hit the caliper with a torch then beat on it- torch beat on- it torch until i finaly got the backing to move its right at the ver edge but i burned the #$%* out of myself and had to get some ice. thought i would let you all know sice im sure you all care so much. im headed back down to the shop to get her done

and i have to thank scott ( 78SS) for the idea with the bolt into the middle, Thanks man!

FWIW guys.I have an old mc and brake line mounted to a hunk of hbar that I clamp in a vise.Attach that to the suspect.Fill with water and do half ass bleed.Out comes piston and no icky brake fluid everywhere.Dry equipment ready for next job.    Rock On

haha not trying to be a jerk but read the thread man, i ahd this attach to an mc i was squeizing it as hard as i could, my brother was torching it and whacking it... no dice. this was a true battle
