I'm quite sure there are a few threads on this subject...

Just repeat after me:

Theres no place like the search engine,
Theres no place like the search engine,
Theres no place like the search engine,

And go forth in search of mods......

I hate it when people just say use the search engine ....if thats the case then why not just lock the whole forum and just make it searchable only

Id think the rack would be to wide for starters from the 750.

So, the strategy is to lie to people you are asking for help?

I think I'll be busy going for a ride.

It's doable, it just takes some imagination to make the intake rubbers. I have a friend that did it on his 550 race bike, and it made an appreciable difference. He used radiator hose if I remember right, and played with the lengths until he was happy...
Hope this helps!

Yeah, yeah...

No offence, but you only have 16 posts... I was thinking you were new to here...

But anyways...

If 650 carbs will fit then so will the 750 carbs.(ask me how I know.....)

In fact here are 2 threads mentioning 750 carbs on a 550.

yes fairly easy, but not as easy as writing a check for a bigger bike!
Use the carb runners from the 77-78 550s.they make the job easyer, new carb boots too.
