Topic: Body kit "S-92"

Hey guys,

I have a body kit that I thought was for a 1970s-ish CB750.  It has become increasingly aware to me that its not going to fit the CB750 I have in the garage with no tank or seat right now. (which sucks because this kit included both of those)  Anyways its ALL fibre-glass and has "S 92" on the underside in multiple places.  Im assuming it may be a 1992 kit for something but Im at a loss. I just remembered I wanted to ask about it while at work so I will post pictures around dinner, just wanted to get the question out to anyone and see if they knew what I was talking about.

All fibre glass, ALMOST looks like the 1970 CR750 front. Longer fiberglass tank and seat that end up just past the rear tire on my 750.

Thanks for your initial thoughts guys but know its not for a honda expecially that one. Its a big kit- not little lol. Umm I seem to have lost the camera... so it might be another day but I took the seeley suggestion and Ive found a few that look similar so far

Got to looking closer, more likely Triumph Trident.  The Beeza and the Trumpet shared the 3-cylinder engine, but it had more forward angle in the BSA, so the fuel tanks were shaped different.  Almost like a modern 4 cyl sportbike.  The Triumphs had the engine more vertical and the frame had a backbone similar to, well, everything else.

Looks to be the closest thing to what this is so far, not too sure about the double seat.  Cool thing about this kit is it is 100% original and unused. There is a few little nicks from time past but its pretty obvious almost none are around now.  Anyone else think they might have a better suggestion? If not looks like we have a winner.

        Check this frontal shot and look at the slot on the center (Dick Mann's) and left bikes. The fairing in question, has the same slot. Just a thought. Got the shot from coyotecowboy's link.

Tried for about an hour and no I couldn't find a side shot of a Triumph 3 fairing. This is the problem guys Im only 21 here I wasn't born for at least 10-15 years after this thing was made, and for once the internet hasn't helped in all its wisdom, not even a picture of the thing on a bike! Thanks for the help though guys if anyone else could hazard a guess or knows for sure?

I believe I have a old picture in a Yoshimura cataloge of pressumably that fairing. Fairing on the Z1 that took Yvon Duhamel into the recordbooks on Daytona in '73. Look at this video.

Having met and bought from Paul Dunstall direct I dont think its any of his work as the tank/seat shape don't look right from memory, altough that was in 78 so the memory isn't guaranteed, also I don't think he made many all glass tanks for the Japanese bikes due to the UK law change baning them, most were tank covers.

Well it might sound a little crazy but I actually prefer the look to the new superbikes and "sport bikes" I dont like new cruisers either. Basically anything new just isn't the same. I get more head turns from driving my 1970 CB750 than I ever would from the regular old GIXRs. People in cars even yell out their windows "HEY! What is that?!"  I like it. And lets both be honest the CR750 is f*ckin hot

Yeah it is possible this isnt a full kit and may be a 1/2 and 1/2 but the tank and seat are definately a match and look like its a modified race design for the road since it has a long enough seat for 2 people. The fairing is clearly track only so you may be right- now its just determining where they both came from. Or rather where they are supposed to be mounted and to what. lol

Well, being that its on a page with Z-1 kawasaki stuff, I'd be inclined to guess that its a Kawasaki fairing, from Yoshimura. That means it wont fit a CB750, which means you should sell it to me, so I can put it on my, uh, "kawasaki"...

How much do people think this is worth? I was planning on swapping it with a motorcycle wreckers for a pretty sweet 1991 GSXR750 lol or as close to a straight swap as I could get.
