@TwoTired, you must be referring to the Latin root "pneum" or Greek "pneuma" meaning air/gas/lung.  I haven't personally heard any English Canadians call a tyre a "gasbag".  Now the French Canadains, well that might be a different story.  I can't vouch for their variations or use of French-English.

By the way, @TwoTired, are you referring to any specific gasbag, ay?

Well yes you're right of course (being an educated young man  ;D) unless you count Dunlop's invention of the first pneumatic tyre? He was Irish. The main point was they're all British and so subjects of the Queen and native users of The Queen's English.... ;)

Ah sorry Lordy but Dunlop was Scottish and he came from my birthplace of Ayrshire, Scotland. More info and some interesting history here:

Ok, I have been SEARCHING...

Looking for the 'right' sized tire for my 550F. Because I put too big of tires on my RD  ::) ....
I'm learning, I slowed turn in with a 110/80 in front on my RD.

Looks like 100/90 & 110/90 is decent sizing (I am going to a 18" front) for the CB550.

Bridgestone BT-45H have 100/80 & 110/80 tires available.
Will the lower sidewalls hurt handling much? ...Help?
In newer bikes less sidewall = less sidewall flex.
80 series are a rare breed...

Sometimes I'm anal LOL, but please chime in! TIA

Why not the regular Bridgestone Battlax BT45F 3.25-19 54H and BT45R 4.00-18 64H?

As I pointed out I am going to a 18" front.
I am building up in a cafe/roadrace style, in which MAYBE slightly more rubber could be OK when
running a 18" front tire...
Just looking for feedback. Thanks!
