cb350F...a few questions
« on: November 25, 2008, 08:06:11 AM »
I am in the process of switching my bars to clubmans.  The way my brake lever and turn signal are coming in contact I am unable to get my master cylinder to sit horizontally.  I can go either below or above the turn signal.  Does this have to sit horizontally to work properly?  If so I can get some different turn signals....

Also while tearing apart my clutch side mechanism I lost the ball bearing that seats down in the turn signal switch and moves through those small grooves.  Should have never taken that off to begin with!  Anybody know the diameter of that little bugger?

Started hacking the seat apart...not much padding left so my ars is going to be a mess.  What do you all think?  I think I'm going to cover it with brown vinyl.

I think the MC could be on a bit of an angle, provided that there is enough fluid in the resivoir to cover the hole in the bottom.

You'll also want to make sure that the cap doesn't leak  ;)

vill, not sure if you saw my 400f seat i carved... very similar looking... i added cotton batting to smooth out imperfections.  make sure to sit on the seat before you go too far.  are the edges on the inner legs to sharp?
i beg of you, no brown, please.  no offense meant toward your taste, although it needs a bit of refinement.   ;) ;D

brake fluid eats paint so leakage is the main problem... keep it filled like they all said and pressure shouldn't be a problem.

350Four,

Where did you get your gauge faces?  I've been scouring the net trying to find a tach face.

For the record, I also lost my 350Four's switch ball. It's the same size as the headlight switch ball. I lost my mind looking for it, then trying to find a replacement (I even tried a ball of solder), then I broke down and went to a junkyard a few hours south. Unless you want to buy the whole assembly for infinity-billion dollars from you local Honda dealer, find an authentic spare.... Good luck
