Okay, I know it's not completely on-topic on this site, but I know a lot of members here are machinists in some way or another.

I got tired of sorting through posts in Yahoo groups and decided to create a full-blown forum designed specifically for hobby and professional machinists. There are separate categories for machining questions, projects, CAD, politics, and a whole lot more. It's also completely free. And to tell the truth, I swiped a lot of the format from the great example set here on the SOHC forum.  ;D

I'm hoping that it will prove to be a great nucleus for the online machining community. It's a new site and I'd love to hear any feedback you may have. Here's the url:

www.chipsandswarf.com

Hope to see you there!

Looks like a good start, I will try to sit down and give it some time tomorrow. Here is another site I don't spend nearly enough time reading (All though its hard to keep up once a forum grows soo large)
