Topic: has anyone here ever did the 900rr front end swap

I have a 75 CB750F and I'm looking to do the 900RR front end swap along with a F3 rear wheel, (I all ready have all the parts)  has anyone here did this I need alittle help......1st.... For the F3 rear swap can someone tell me what size spacers I need to make, and do I use the stock CB axle??.....2nd.....On the 900RR front swap, (The steering stem swap) who can I get to do this for me, I'll be glad to ship it where it needs to go, I just need to know of someone that has all ready did one......Can anyone help?

I have seen pics of a guy that did do it. They were(the pics) associated with this board. I believe he used the RR swingarm and wheel too. The bike was orange/black. You would need 900RR triple trees with a cb750 stem pressed in. It is certainly possible. I don't know about the specifics. You'd be on your own for countersprocket offset etc.

Any competent machine shop with a welder can do the steering stem swap. I'd recomend my guy but unfortunatly he is under a lot of water (I had mine done when I was living in New Orleans). I found my guy by asking the local bike shop who does all their machine work. It is better to have the work done locally so if there is a problem you can have then fix it.

This guy used to be a member here, his website has lots of pics but isn't that informative. Try e-mailing him for the spacer size. If you take your swingarm, axle, and wheel to the machine shop and ask them to measure and make you spacers they should be able to do it.
