Tire rub on 550

I just put two new tires on my 550 and I noticed that the front is rubbing lightly where the mounting bracket is for the brake host. Has anyone encountered this before and how did you fix it? I'm thinking about dragging out the grinder and cutting down the bracket some. Here's a pic of the tires I put on:
They are 657 Sport Challengers from Kenda. Size was 100/90-19 FRONT.

Wrong size for the 550 but if you insist on keeping it you will have to modify the bracket CAREFULLY

I run a 100/90/19 front on my 550 without issues.

One of my 500s had a 110/90-19 Kenda Challenger up front when I bought it and I had no clearance problems although it was a tight fit, I did replace it with a 100/90-19 tire.
