These photo's is from my first roadtrip with my new bike, '76 SS with 78 colours (i think).
I drove 2000 km in five days, great trip with great scenery in new territory:)

I sent HondaNorway a PM but he hasnt replied yet..  does anyone else know about mounting hardbags like these?  They almost look like krauser cases.

I've got Krauser bags on my 78 cb550k.  I believe they made a "univeral" mounting system that bolted right up to my bike without much fuss.  They do sit awfully close to the original 4 into 4 though........and the exhaust finally melted a small hole in one side.

I bought mine from a guy around here who parts out bikes and pulled them off a 750.  They sure are nice for touring.

My oldest son and I took both my bikes the K6 and Wide Glide out for a spin today. Weather was beautiful. Had BBQ for lunch and on the way home stopped by the Harley dealership and checked out the 2011 models.

Rode out to Tybee Is GA this AM to see the super high tides with my son. Fort Pulaski in the background, boat landing and this freighter sneaking through the marsh! No good place to stop and snap a pic of the marshes safely.

So, the strategy is to lie to people you are asking for help?

I think I'll be busy going for a ride.

Good luck!

Thanks Brett. It's been a fun project over the last year, just a few items left to upgrade.

It was this place. Herbert fisheries. Fresh whitefish and fries out of a bus, eaten on the dock! I was on a run with the Sudbury chapter of the Canadian Vintage Motorcycle Group.

That's it.  Name must have changed since I was last there.  Once when we were there they ran out of fish while we were in line to order but the fishing boat was just pulling up so it was only a matter of minutes before the fish went from the boat to the fryer. ;D  We always stop in Killarney when we are on sailing trips in that part of Lake Huron.

Clearly the remaining riding days for this year are numbered, but we have had some pretty good weather lately. With no rain in the past week or so, the unpaved roads are nice and dry and hard packed so I've been hitting them lately.
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.
