Topic: LED Headlight Insert

Can anyone recommend a 7" LED headlight insert for a 1982 CB650?  I have an aftermarket incandescent bulb 12 Volt and the high beam seems to take a toll on the battery.  These bikes do no have the best charging systems, plus I'm looking for an upgrade that throws more light.

There are lots.  I run a Cyclops 10.0 Ultra in a Hella.  I don't use the running light, but it's easy to hook up.  Very nice light.  The Cyclops lights sell out as soon as they come in stock. You might find a reseller who has one.  I ordered mine from Cyclops and they shipped it as soon as they got them in.

Thanks all, the point about reflector design makes sense.  That said, I had somone recommend the following light they used with the same headlamp on a CB500.  These have an adjustable light pattern, I figured I'd give it a shot.

Installed this today, it's much brighter than the bulb that came with the light.  Reduced wattage from 50/60 to 18.6, so problem should be solved.  I'll know for sure my next night time ride, and the price was right too.
