Topic: Rear shocks came today!

Its always fun to see the UPS guy when you have parts on order! These are the rear shocks and grips from Partsnmore.com. I'll install and give a review afterwards, but calling for rain all weekend here in Atlanta so it might be next week.

i bought the same two things from them and there both awesome plus the black shock covers look cooler than the standard chrome

Are they standard length shocks or shorter ones? and what $$ are we talking from Parts'n more?

Identical to the ones I just pu on my 78 750K.

I did need washer between the shock and frame at the top post.

Other than that, they are a real nice and the fit is good.

Yea, take some pics if you can, I was about to order shocks and grips. I like the lower shock look, but not too much.

I just got mine and they are not what I wanted, they have an eye at both ends. Now I cannot get onto PartsNMore's web site to try to resolve this.....

Someone else was saying they couldn't get in.  I just tried www.partsnmore.com and it worked fine, maybe the server was b0rked.

Let me know if you find the shocks a little stiff.

Yeah they are stiff but I've got them set real high (5th Setting) . I'm going to change it to the 2nd setting and see what they feel like then.

Finally got in. I heard from them today, they have not given me a definite yet, but I am hopeful that they will exchange both pieces.
