Raised white lettering
« on: April 06, 2009, 08:06:59 PM »
Per my correspondence with Americanmototire:

"Unfortunately, the manufacturers have stopped making Raised White Letter tires.  They are now obsolete."

I ordered a pair of Spitfires from BikeBandit tonight, but that may be my last. Get them while you can. Americanmototire still has the rear, but no front.

well it is not raised but you can paint the letters with a paint pen. most are rubber ok. Heck I used a paint pen testers! Downside is the time it takes.

A few people as well as Harley Davidson shops sell tire specific paint pens. Your local HD shop should stock white, yellow and orange.

Always another option. I should actually take the time to do this to my tires this spring.

WARNING: SHAMELSS PLUG
If you have a Cycle Gear in your area, we sell tire paint pens, also.
