The nighthawks from 84-86 were cb700sc,due to the tarrifs to save Hardley Ableson,So all 750's were now 700's.The Cb700sc is one of the best bikes Honda ever made.Fast, shaft drive,16 valves with hydraulic adjusters,I had one and miss it terribly.Absolutely LOVE that bike.Fastest I ever went was on that bike.Never a problem except I got it from some excon mouth breather who beat on it and there was no 2nd gear. The only probs that are common is 2nd gear goes on these and the starter clutch.Other than that,It is up there with my all time favorite bikes.I am always on the lookout for a clean one.(not that I have any money left,I spend it all on my 750k.
its better to regret something you have done, than something you havent.Except playing with explosives.
