Hi, great job on the bike!

I just picked up a 75 550 that had already been cafe'd by the previous owner.

Question, do you know if your kick lever clears the Tarozzi rearset with the peg folded up?  Mine came with the Raask setup, which has major kick start clearance issues.

nope the kickstarter lever doesnt clear the tarozzis.

Have you looked into a 550f kickstart lever? It has an extra bend in it to clear the CB400f rearsets I got, and might be the thing you need.

My bike is a 1977, so there are some slight frame differences, but even a "F" kicker still won't clear.

In short, if you want kick, don't get Raasks!

so my bcr seat came in last week and I finally got a chance to mock it up. I love the way it looks

I have to ask, Where did you get that seat, that is the exact one that I am looking for.

That's a BCR (Benji's Cafe Racers) seat.

yup even though I have tarozzis I just gave up on the idea of using the kickstarter and took it off. Saves weight and it looks cooler
