tang up or down for float height ???
« on: April 17, 2005, 12:15:51 PM »
Help! I'm trying to adjust my float height on one carb (78 CB550K)it leaks out of the overflow tube. I don't have a guage at the moment, but the Clymer manualĀ  states that bending the tang between the floats that the valve is attached to can regulate the amount of gas in the body....is it Up for less gas or down for less??? I can properly set the height at a friends shop if I can get there without leaving a trial or skidding out! Thanks, Ken

Bend Up toward the top of the carb for less fuel in the fuel bowl.
