350F Valve Tappet Adjustment Tool - Part Number?
« on: April 21, 2009, 11:19:58 AM »
I've been searching for a while and can't find the part number or a link for the valve tappet adjustment wrench that Honda sells. Help?

Thanks!

I thought I remembered it being like $15 from Honda - buy the time I ruin a socket and and wrench making that, plus buy epoxy, I figured I might as well get the Honda tool.

take a look at how much i spent too.   ;)   and i used a non-cheap craftsman socket!

not trying to talk you into it... just posting the option that i chose.

I have to put in an order with Honda for a bunch of other stuff, so I was going to slip this in as well. If no one else can come up with the part number, I plan on fabbing something like that.

I don't think that's going to work on a 350F.  The tappets are square shaped aren't they?

that should be said... i made this part for my buddy's 650 and not for working on my own machine.

I find this and a 8mm wrench for the locking nut (I think that's the size) works fine.

i remember something more like 25 or 30 for OEM

that square bit in the electrical cap is ingenious... give the son a pat on the back.
