Installing a hard bag on cb750
« on: August 01, 2013, 09:03:03 AM »
I want to mount these bates hard bags on my cb750k1.  These were used on a gl1000.  When I lined them up against my bike it looked like it would fit.  I think the bottom metal twisted long piece attaches to the passanger foot peg, the right bracket with the small piece attached to it goes to the shocks and the long upright piece attaches to the turn signals?  Is that correct?  Ignore the bracket that goes around from the front of the bag to the back.  I'll take that off.  Also, the turn signals have to be removed?

Here are some pics of some Bates I just took of a 750F. Yes the lower bar goes to passenger pegs.

Exactly what I needed. Looks like my bates are identical. Thanks!
